Thin decorative cord in gold and silver, 2 mm thickness

This thin cord is available in gold and silver and, as it is only 2 mm thick, can also be used well for tying or binding.

This decorative cord is a so-called rotating cord. The 2 strands that make up the cord are twisted together. The result is that the cord is a little under tension. This is especially noticeable when you cut a piece: the cord jumps up a little at the ends so that you have to tie/tape/knot it.

Our decorative cords have a soul made of cotton or synthetic fibre yarns. This gives the cord the desired strength and stability. The metallic gold or silver thread is wrapped around the soul.
